If you’ve heard the fuss about the Niche Blogging Institute and are wondering whether it might be a helpful investment for your online business, this review will try to provide some of the information you need to make an informed decision at this early stage in the prelaunch of NBI.

The Institute is going to be focusing solely on affiliate marketing through blogs. In that way it’s more specific than other affiliate marketing training memberships, so it won’t be for “everyone”.

In a more recent video, Andrew revealed another few points about what the focus of the training and resourced provided at NBI will be.

The first point of interest is that NBI will aim to eliminate some of the need for content production by its members by offering quality article content on the targeted “buying” keywords that are delivered each month through the “research” modules. Since the creation of content is often a big stumbling block for new affiliate marketers, this element could prove to be a big contributor to it’s members success.

Speaking of content, another thing Andrew and I have promised to teach is some strategies for lessening the need for infinite content (a challenge for bloggers at any level) by “content leveraging” and being able to keep conversions high while utilizing content that’s not your own.

Another thing you’ll pick up from our latest video is that there will be training material in NBI geared towards helping you generate traffic from sources other than the search engines and social networks; something most people are quite interested in.

October 17th saw the beginning of prelaunch for a new site called The Niche Blogging Institute. Like most it made some big claims on teaching people how to make money using blogs and affiliate marketing.

First a comment should be made on the strategy of “niche blogging” itself. The trainers at Niche Blogging Institute, Andrew Hansen and myself are focusing on teaching how to use blogs to make money through affiliate offers (both CPA and the traditional pay per sale type programs) and Adsense.

Different to other affiliate marketing memberships we will strictly not be teaching anything to do with Pay Per Click but focusing solely on free traffic methods.

We know (well I do) that free traffic methods are great when they work, but can take time to implement and results need to be built and grown with time. So while they have claimed to be able to generate fast search rankings and quick profits, we should be aware that the people who make the most out of the NBI service will be those looking to create an online business that will grow and sustain an income over the long term.

The focus will be on the trainers trying to “do as many of the steps as possible FOR you”.. so they will take care of things like niche research, keyword research and affiliate program research by offering a certain amount of “pre searched” niches, keywords, and affiliate programs per month for all members. This certainly has the potential to stop one of the major causes of failure of affiliate marketers, namely, promoting badly converting offers.

The other focus will be on video training. Since few people want to read an ebook anymore, Andrew and I want to focus on providing training in a walk through video format, so you can watch every step live on screen, as the professionals themselves would do it, and proceed to copy. We hope this will provide an effective means of training that everyone can utilize effectively but we also know that the training part of NBI won’t be limited to ONLY video content, with training guides of various kinds available too.
