The Best And The Worst Things That Happened To Me In January 2009

There have been quite a few great things happening for me in January.

1. Being on holidays…that’s been great and I still have over a week to go
2. I started my first blog challenge free at the warrior forum (it’s too late to join but you may find it interesting reading the posts.  Click here to view the thread.  
3. I had to pinch myself when I received an email from the world’s number one affiliate marketer, Ewen Chia, wanting to interview ME for his superaffiliates members.  I was very nervous about the interview but it was just one on one with myself and Ewen and went for over and hour and I believe it went pretty well.  Oh, also, I was his first female guest so I was absolutely tickled pink about that (you go girls).

The worst thing that happened to me in January?

Actually can’t think of anything it’s been a blessing actually.

A PUBLIC APOLOGY FROM ME

Now I do owe you a sincere apology and here’s why.  

Around the time I launched Blog Inferno I received an email from another marketer wanting to do a joint venture with me….I got a review copy of his product and I was very impressed with it…and as a result of that I recommended the product to you.

Now I still believe that his product is quality HOWEVER here’s what happened…

I received an email from this person to say that he had recommended Blog Inferno to his very responsive list and no-one was interested.

Now from looking at awstats I couldn’t see anything to suggest that such a recommendation had been made….after a few emails to him I received no response when I sought clarification.

I had some of you raise some concerns with him which I instantly raised with him – NO response.

And only recently heather you kindly let me know that you’d been approached by phone with a $3000 coaching program through him.

Unfortunately I have no control over what happens after one of you makes a purchase but all I can say is that I’m sorry for that.  I’m extremely careful about what I recommend and for good reason but sometimes the end result may be something I have no control over so I hope you can forgive me for that.

Also, in January I did create a great little niche pak which was put together for the sole purpose of helping all of you find the right niches to target.  Many thanks to the people who took up the offer.  Now I did get an email from someone who seemed quite angry at me that one of the ebooks was already available from somewhere else and was disappointed as a result.

Now as much as I would LOVE to have the time to create my own unique packages working full time it’s just not possible.

Blog Inferno was three months in the making and I just don’t have the time available to create a quality product equal to BI in calibre in a flash.  However, I can vouch for the fact that I will only release packages that are top quality, a great price, and great value for money.  Once again, I would ask that you take that into account if I sell something that’s not actually created by myself….that’s the only reason why (the time factor).

Be On The Lookout For Unusual Ways To Rank In The Search Engines!

Now if you are an aweber user like I am you may have noticed that you have the opportunity to broadcast your messages (that you don’t mind sharing) to both twitter and as a rss feed.

I noticed the other day when doing some research that my actual rss feed for aweber had been ranked in google based entirely on the keywords that I’d used in the subject line….

So that’s another great reason to do a bit of keyword research even when choosing subject lines for your autoresponder messages :O)

How To Use Twitter To Increase Your Passive Income Online!

When you are trying to make money with Internet Marketing, getting traffic to your site is everything. If you don’t get traffic then you don’t make money.

It really is that simple.

You can pay to advertise and try to get traffic, or you can use one of the many free methods available. One of the newest and best free ways to market your IM business is by using a social networking site called Twitter.  

Twitter is known as a social networking site. This means that the site allows people to create a page for themselves and interact with other people. Also, any blatant attempt to advertise will not go over well. If you want to keep followers then you will want to write quality posts and you’ll also want to be very slick with advertising.  

So that begs the question: How do you get people who will follow you?

Unfortunately, you can’t make anyone follow you. However, you can follow others and then more often than not those that you follow will begin to follow you.  A great site to use to find people on Twitter is Twellow.com. Twellow will allow you to use keywords to find people on Twitter.

So, you can search for keywords that are related to your business and then follow people who are connected to that keyword. Then, once you get a few people that you are following, you can look at the people they are following and the people who are following them. Then you can choose to follow these people as well.  

You should definitely use Twitter to increase your Internet Marketing business. It is free to use and it can be very effective. Just make sure you don’t use Twitter to SPAM your followers and also make sure you are very subtle with how you market your business and your products. If you use Twitter correctly then you will certainly reap the financial rewards.

Hello everyone,

This mini 60 minute affiliate newsletter is really a live case study done today.

Today I received notification of a brand new internet marketing product and instantly went to work to start promoting it today.

Here are the steps that I followed.

1.  The program in question is nicheq….I’m already a wealthy affiliate member so I get access to nicheq free of charge.

2.  I logged into the wealthy affiliate area to find out all that I could about nicheq.  I had already become aware of it from some of my firepow students working on promoting it also.

3.  I plugged in my logitech usb headset and did a video review of the product in question.

4.  I used easy web creator which is my favourite video marketing tool.

5.  I converted the avi video to flash and then uploaded it straight to youtube….You can see the video below…

6.  I then did a post to it on my firepow blog and inserrted the youtube video straight inside the post.

Simple as….took me about 30 minutes from start to finish.

I put the post on one of my older blogs with page rank so that it has the chance of ranking high for naturally in the search engines.
